Battery health minimum is the lowest remaining battery capacity a brand accepts on a used e-bike it sells.
Battery health is the share of a battery's original capacity that remains, and every charge cycle uses a little of it. A brand's minimum is the floor it will sell a used battery above, so a used e-bike cannot arrive with a badly worn pack.
It sets the limit you are protected by. Upway's minimum is 80%.
Ask for the reading at the point of sale rather than after delivery. A pack that sits near the minimum has less range left and may need replacing sooner, which is worth weighing against the price saving.
