Crash replacement, sometimes sold as accident replacement, is a scheme where a brand sends you a new item after a crash rather than leaving you to pay full retail. For a commuter it closes a real gap, because gear is often damaged in a collision that is not your fault and an ordinary warranty covers manufacturing faults only. Lumos and Lumos Helmet are both listed as offering it, and Bern is too. Hiboy and @kryptonite are not. Read the terms, since schemes often charge a fee, cover only certain models and require a police or insurer report.
