What is Weight?

Weight is how heavy the product is, given in grams from the brand's own specification. On a daily commute it shows up in two places: how you feel carrying or lifting the thing, and how much effort a heavier scooter or e-bike needs over the same distance. A light helmet sits unnoticed, while a heavy one is obvious by the end of a long ride. Lumos Helmet lists 370 to 450 and Bern lists 370, while CUBE lists 317. Compare weights within the same product type, since a lock and a helmet are not in the same category.
