Minimum weight is the lightest bike or scooter a brand lists, and the lower the figure the easier it is to carry, lift or load onto a train.
A heavy e-bike is awkward to lift onto a train or into a car, so the lightest weight a brand publishes is worth checking before you buy. Each figure here comes from the brand's own site. Aventon comes out lightest in this group at 16.8, while AsVIVA sits at the other end with 29. Folding frames and fat tyres add their own bulk, so compare the number against the style of machine you actually want rather than against the lightest example in the range.
